	Adventures in Listening Kurt Masur A film by Amit Breuer NEWS: Matinee with Kurt Masur 11:30AM on Sunday, 24 May 2009 Astoria Cinema, Leipzig After DOK Leipzig and the Leipzig Gewandhaus celebrated the world premiere of ADVENTURES IN LISTENING – KURT MASUR in December in the presence of director Amit Breuer and conductor Kurt Masur, the film will now be screened a second time in co-operation with the Passage-Kino at this matinee performance including champagne. After the screening, the maestro will be present for a question and answer session. The film was screened at The Tel Aviv International Documentary Film Festival on May 2009 Aired on SBS TV Australia One of the worlds’ great Maestro’s, challenges and teaches the next generation of young musicians and conductors stretching their limits and transforming their perspectives and abilities. 	DocAgora A fundermember of DocAgora Association an international working group organizing conferences and workshops about the future of social- engaged documentaries in the digital era... Voices Forward Voices Forward was formed in 2006 by like-minded colleagues including respected film programmer Stacey Donen and Israeli doc producer Amit Breuer, recently moved to Toronto. They realized that there was a hunger for information, discussion and art from the region not readily available to Canadians and believed Toronto's relative openness provided a unique place to foster a festival dedicated to building bridges between the Israeli and Palestinian communities. Our hope is to transmit the realities in these artistic works, focusing on individuals from both sides with the courage to showcase human stories. We believe that these voices should be heard in North America: nothing can communicate humanity and the human experience better than art. In addition to presenting screenings and events throughout the year, the Voices Forward Third Annual Festival will present a complex and varied arrays of films, photography, theatre, music and dialogue discussions with visiting Palestinian and Israeli artists and filmmakers between November 12 - 16, 2008...
